A R Rahman Returns to Malayalam through "Aadujeevitham"

Rahman and Malayalam movie industry goes way back. 28 years ago, history was made through the cult classic 'YODHA' by the master of music, A R Rahman. Now Rahman has confirmed his return through Blessy's 'Aadujeevitham'.
Aadujeevitham is a movie based on Benyamin's novel of the same name. Prithviraj play's as the main character of Najeeb. Preparation of Najeeb was tough, even Prithviraj lose 20 kilos. Najeeb in Benyamin's novel is a person who stuck in the desert.
The movie will be produced by KG Abraham for KGA films. It will be shot in Kuttanadu, Jordan and Egypt. Prithviraj plays alongside Amala Paul. It is expected to be a performance-heavy film. The first two schedules of the big-budget film have already been completed.
The recording for the Vijay Yesudas track has been completed already. The film’s team had earlier finished shooting the song’s visual. The film’s technical crew include Resul Pookutty for sound designing, KU Mohanan for cinematography and Raja Muhammed for editing. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Aparna Balamurali, Santhosh Keezhattoor and Lena appear in the movie as supporting roles. 
Director Blessy was keen on getting Rahman on board as he felt that the film has great scope for music. He firmly believed that only AR Rahman would be able to bring about the kind of music that can capture the different emotional and spiritual levels of an isolated man. According to the director, music has a more important role to play in the film than the dialogues. Apart from the songs, Rahman will also be working on an international quality score with a blend of different genres of music such as Arabic, western and Indian.
