Idukki: Residents of tribal colony in Pattayakudi said that the sewage water from a pig farm, which functions illegally in the area, is dumped in the nearby drinking water sources. As the colony is gripped by acute water shortage, they moved the High Court, seeking a solution to their issue. As a result of the legal measures taken by the natives, the Vannapuram panchayat issued a stop memo to the pig farm.
