Google celebrate Steve Irwin's Birthday with a cute Doodle

On Friday, February 22nd, it would be Steve Irwin's 57th birthday. I am pretty sure most people know the name Steve Irwin. He was the legendary, fun and entertaining Australian zookeeper who were and is still part of many people's lives. Now his family, wife, son and other children continue on his legacy after he passed years ago due to an accident.

His wife, Dr. Terri Irwin, wrote a guest post on the Google Blog about his legacy. Yes, a guest post, with a do-follow link to their non profit organization Wildlife Warriors - let's give Google a pass on that link, okay?

Google also posted about it on their Doodle sitesaying:
Today’s slideshow Doodle celebrates and explores the life and legacy of wildlife conservationist and television personality Steve Irwin, who inherited a love of large reptiles early on in life and shared it with the world through his work at the Australia Zoo and his popular TV series The Crocodile Hunter. Irwin and his family dedicated their lives to the preservation and appreciation of earth’s wildlife and wild places.
Born in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia on this day in 1962, Irwin was raised by Lyn and Bob Irwin, who gave him an eleven-foot python for his sixth birthday. He named the snake Fred. During the early 1970s, the Irwins moved to the Sunshine Coast in the Australian State of Queensland and opened Beerwah Reptile Park.
Whenever I see his son, Robert Irwin, do his thing, like on the Late Show or elsewhere, his mannerism (not style of clothing) remind me of Matt Cutts a bit...
